Noun/Verb Differences

Here is Mister Duncan, an English teacher, who is going to talk about the differences between a verb and a noun, using the same word. These differences will be related to position in the clause, meaning, pronunciation, etc.

1º B Top Five Compostions on Routines

Every time you write a composition for your English class, I will publish the names of the top five and the best composition of all. I will start with the one you handed me last week, that about routines. Here are the results:

TOP FIVE COMPOSITIONS:

And the Winner is....

As promised, here are the results of the Halloween projects our students of 1º B did last 31st October.

Third place went to....

The group was made up of the following students:
Álvaro Hungría, Daniel Muñoz, Iván Miranda, Alexis Rodríguez and Juan José Sánchez.

Second place went to...

This group was made up of these students:
Zaida Gandul, Marina García, Andrea Palmero and Verónica Pérez.
Although their project consisted of several pages, I have only published two of them.

And the WINNER is...


The members of the best Halloween project are as follows:
Carmen Gutiérrez, Araceli Martínez, Eva Martínez and Eloisa Núñez.



I also want to thank all my students of 1º B who participated in this project and weren't awarded. You also did a good job!!

Halloween

Last 31st October we dealt with Halloween in our English lesson. We learnt about its origin and history, what Jack O'Lantern is and why children say that of "trick or treat".

1st ESO students did some Halloween Projects using the information they have previously looked up on the internet at home.
